Coach Crawford was born and raised in Flint, Michigan. He graduated from Northern High School where he was a starting sophomore on the Varsity football team as a defensive back. He earned several honors including 1st team All-City, 2nd team All-Valley, and Defensive back honorable mention. His athletic ability provided him an opportunity to take his talents an hour north to Saginaw Valley State University where he was a 2-year starter and was part of the program that went to the NCAA Division 2 playoffs for 3 years. After graduating from SVSU he moved back to Flint where he began coaching. He has several years of coaching experience, particularly coaching defensive backs along with special teams and being the defensive coordinator. He has been a part of the 475 team since 2017. He is the defensive coach and athletic trainer for the 7 on 7 team. Coach Crawford is PCA (Positive Coaching Alliance) and NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) certified.
